NEW SPRINGS : Outreach
"And it will be said of Jerusalem , 'Everyone has become a citizen here.' And the Most High will personally bless this city. When the LORD registers the nations, he will say, 'This one has become a citizen of Jerusalem .' At all the festivals, the people will sing, 'The source of my life is in Jerusalem !" (Psalm 87:5-7)
"New Springs" ministry provides outreach to the displaced families residing in the church community. Ministry is directed toward providing supportive and concrete assistance to displaced persons transitioning into and from local area, government sponsored, family shelters.
Ministry Objectives:
• Small Group and Spiritual Mentoring
Increase displaced adult's opportunities for faith development through small group discussion meetings that explore and discuss the Christian faith
Reduce the spiritual and social isolation of displaced Christian converts through the provision of one-to-one spiritual mentoring
• Food Bank
Reduce hunger through the provision of food packages to displaced families in need
• Collaboration with the LRCF After School Tutorial Project
Increase displaced children's academic adjustment and confidence through the provision of individualized homework assistance
• Housing Resource Development
Increase displaced families' opportunities to secure safe and affordable permanent housing through the development of local resources and referrals

Aligned with the universal call of the gospel, the LRCF ARM ("A Right Mind" Team ministers the deep grace, hope and love of God to the institutionalized mentally ill. The power of God is so evident in these times of personal ministry.
